The country of India has some of the worst air pollution in the world. USAID and Nexant needed a documentary to inform viewers on innovative efforts to reduce vehicular air pollution in India. The Indian Zero Emission Transportation (IZET) Program, promoting the use of electric vehicles, is a success story in the making. The video was developed to inform USAID program managers around the world, and is also being shown on Indian television.

Over a two-week period, ACI filmed throughout India, which required detailed coordination to secure permissions and logistics with government authorities, interview subjects, and production crews. We conducted more than a dozen interviews including the USAID mission director, UNESCO officials, the Chairman of Bajaj Auto of India and the CEO of New Generation Motors.

The final 26 minute documentary was produced and edited at ACI as well, with a custom soundtrack and sophisticated graphic treatments, and it will continue to be used to garner public, private, government, and international resources and to drive forces for change.

ACI was awarded two Catalyst awards.
